Challenging Custom Pyrenees Cycling Tours: Ride the Toughest Mountain Climbs

If climbing is what you train and live for, if you thought that Galibier and Alpe-d'Huez wasn't that hard, if you're looking for the ultimate climbs. You'll love this custom cycling tour.

The toughest climbs in France and some of the most difficult in the world are found in the Pyrenees. Some such as Hautacam and Pla-d'Adet are famous mountain climbs of the Tour de France and yet they aren't the hardest. Many of the toughest climbs are very little known and found in spectacular and secluded valleys of the Pyrenees.

Many climbs have long sections above 10% grades, and some even have over 20% grades making them possible to climbs only by a few experienced cyclists. On this custom private supported tour, we will design your itinerary based on the maximum grades you think you might want to attempt.

We can also combine the Pyrenees toughest climbs with a trip to climb the mighty Angliru, the highlight of the Vuelta a Espana and the toughest climb ever featured in a world grand tour cycling race. One of our Pyrenees climbs, although little known is at least as challenging as Angliru. This makes a hell of a tour!

This tour can be entirely customized to your desires. With enough time, we can even extend it to all the toughest climbs in Europe that will have you travel to various French, Spanish, Italian, Suisse and Austrian regions. For the Pyrenees and Angliru, you can choose your date of departure from June until the end of September.

Don't stop training; you'll need to be at your best to climb France's toughest mountain passes and tops.
